Sweet like cinnamon

Necklace: Dotti // Blazer: Thrifted // Tee: Sportsgirl // Cord Jeans: Big W // Shoes: Docs low cut - 3 hole
Sorry for the absents but I'm back now ! This was a quick and easy outfit I threw on before going out to dinner the other night with the fam. Could you believe these jeans are little boys ?! My brother grew out of them (hes in the middle of a massive growth spurt) and gave them  to me. They are cord so they are terribly comfy and warm. I'm trying to start wearing more jewelry lately but ive never really been too good at it. Hopefully I can get better at layering so look out for that in posts to come.

I've been listening to alot of Lana Del Rey lately and loving it! Nense the title of this post. Its school holidays *silent cheers* and what better way to celebrate that then to dye my hair blue ? It was alot brighter than this but I am now waiting for it to fade so I can dye it pink! or maybe purple? what do you guys think?

Formal

Dress: Aje // Shoes: Tony Bianco // Lipstick: Ruby woo (Mac)
My year 12 Formal was on Friday and I thought I would share some photos. All the girls in amazing dresses and all the guys looking dapper in there suits! It was such an amazing night, being with your whole grade and celebrating 12 years of schooling. Speeches where made and tears where shed, complements from everyone and too everyone. It was a night to remember and not to remember as we had the after party after. I do not have any photos for that one because I didn't get into any.  These photos where all taken by the very talented James Edwards check out his Facebook page if you would like to see more! You can also see photos on my Instagram @caitlynkirton

Post again soon,

Close Knit

Jumper: Nanna made it // Jeans: Cheap Monday // Shoes: Vintage
Happy Monday everyone! Hope all is well, this is an outfit I wore yesterday ( minus my sunglasses because I've seemed to have miss placed them). It's getting cooler here in Brisbane and by cold i mean a high of 22 Degrees so not very chilly, but its getting there non the less. I wiped out my warm knit which my Nanna made for me last year which kept me warm through the winds of the city.

Its getting closer to end of term which means it is getting closer to my formal. 11 more days! There will surely be a post about it where I can show you my dress and maybe some snaps from the after party. Will exam block nears im freaking out, How are you guys going with school or not school? Message me so we can freak out together. Hope your having a wonderful long weekend! Take care,

Slouchy

Jacket: Topshop | Tee: alice in the eve | Jeans: Topshop | Boots: ZU
Hello all again! Sorry for messing you all around about moving the blog and such. I am going to continue to post on this one and just outfits on my tumblr (: I am also changing the name of this blog to "The Girl, The Weird & The Wardrobe" and my URL to " nyltiac " just because I like it better. I'm going to clean up this blog and same with my posts ! hehe thank you for all messaging me and what not I really appreciate it! Especially to know that people read my posts!

Any-who this is an outfit I wore to DFO on Sunday. It's super comfy and casual apart from my boots! These jeans I seriously live in, they are the Topshop "MoM" jeans and are outrageously comfy and give a cool slouchy vibe. The quote in the photo above explains my life ! I always fear that I will waist a perfectly good outfit and then just wear it around the house. Does anyone else do this? Let me know below, Take care

Arty

Hat: Dissh / Top: Hansel and Gretel / Skirt: Urban Outfitters / Socks: Happy Socks /
Hi all! Hope all is well. This is abit (alot) of a delayed post im sorry. On Sunday I went into the city with Brodie (My amazing boyfriend) and took a few shots of my surroundings and outfit for the day.

let me start by saying how IN LOVE I am with this top, it is sheer in all the right places and has a cute cut out at the back. I managed to snatch it up when I was in Sydney for $50! My skirt material is kinda like wearing sweat pants in skirt form (not that you can see or tell) which makes it uber comfy to wear and walk everywhere. My shoes on the other hand cause alot of blisters but oh well!

Its the middle of exams and assignments and I feel good, nearly end of term + Formal is in 3 weeks and then I will only have 2 terms of prison (school)! Its nearly over! How is everyone? and what have they been up too? Take care,

Fashion Weekend Sydney

All photo's taken by me -  instagram
Hi guys ! Sorry for the late post about my Sydney trip. I attended Sydney's Fashion Weekend on the 18th of May and it was out of this world. All designer brands such as Aje, Bec & Bridge, Blessed are the Meek, Casper & Pearl and heaps more where there, all set up in little stalls. The people there where so so nice and the bargins there where just - W O W ! I recommend everyone to go next year because I got about 15 things (all designer brands) for under $300!

On another note: school is K I L L I N G me with assignments and study, senior year is awesome yet hard to cram everything into such a short amount of time. Its nearly the middle of the year which is insane because it means my formal is soon; the 20th of June. I got a dress from Aje in Sydney and am very excited to wear it! I will post all about the night too. How is everyone else handling school? Take care, post again soon.
