Sleepy Head

Here are a few snaps that Brodie took on his new little lens. I am incredibly awkward in front of the camera always and I will never look at you; maybe just for a split second. He always manages to get a few cool ones until I start pulling funny faces. We finish school in less than two weeks and counting! I am currently on exam block which means next week is my final week of school. This year has gone too quick for words! It feels like only yesterday I was leaving to go to high school and now I'm leaving with a full time job in my hands, some amazing friends for life, memories and the one who I love!

On another note, yes my hair is long! and no it did not grow over night nor am I wearing a wig. They are tape extensions and I got them done at my work (I work at a hairdresser if your new here to the blog) If you have any questions about them or want to know anything; feel free to comment below or send me an email which you can find at the top of the blog. Post again soon. Take care,

10 Songs I can't get out of my head ! + Update

- *Image not mine* From my Tumblr -
Hi guys, long time no post I know. I have been extremely busy with school (three weeks left *screams internally*) and work but I am so happy to be back blogging! I thought I would do a little up-date before i get into the post.
I am currently saving up for a new camera so the photos on my blog will be a lot better than my iPhone; other than when Brodie Photographs them because he is a genius with a camera! I am also thinking or will be making styling and lifestyle kinda vlogs on youtube next year. I'm heading to Thailand in January and will be hopefully be filming my whole trip! Oh and I'm getting long hair on friday so keep an eye out for that one! (Instagram : @caitlynkirton_ ) I think thats about it! all updated, no onto the post.

I have had a few songs stuck in my head for the past few weeks and they are just too good not to share. Take the time to listen to them! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Patty Walters / Stay with me (cover)

I am all for covers, I love them and it kinda gives me a new love for old songs. This cover by my favourite Patty Walters is a lot softer than the original sung by my all time favourites "You Me At Six." He is also in a band called "

FKA Twigs / Two Weeks

Her music just makes you want to listen and indulge in the sound. Her voice is just so hypnotising and puts me in a trance and only Coldplay and a few other singers/bands can do that! I strongly suggest you listen to all her songs on her album because they are mind blowing and a little odd.

Andy Bull / Dog

I have fallen in love with Andy and his music since the first time I was introduced to his music. I was lucky enough to see him live in a small venue and was so close I could have touched him! It was magical. Even though this song is about depression it is such a beautiful song. All of Andy Bull's music is something to listen to of everyday of the week!

Banks / Warm Water (Snakehips Remix)

This is one of those songs that you listen to when getting ready with the girls to go out for the night. It has a beat that just makes you want to grove and smile while listening. Its nice because its not too full on but its not just background music. I haven't really listen to much of her other music but another one of my favourites (which is an original) is called "Beggin For Thread."

Youth Model / Couldn't resist

Youth Model is a new band to me and I've only listen to this song of theirs but I'm in love with it! The tune of it makes you want to be at their concert rocking out and singing along. Hopefully they post more on their Youtube Channel in the future because I love their vibe in their music.

Lo Fang / You're The One That I Want (Cover)

My wonderful boyfriend (Brodie) sent me this song and it is breath taking. Its amazing and I agree with him this should have been the way the original was sung. I haven't listened to his other music but if its this good he will be on my favourites list for a long time coming. His voice takes you to another place, I fall asleep to this at night and it makes me feel all good inside.

Tonight Alive / Lonely Girl

I was lucky enough to go and see these guys live in concert when I went to go see " You Me At Six" earlier in September. They are an Aussie band from Sydney and the lead singer Jenna McDoughall makes such an amazing atmosphere and her voice is just *cries* ... you can't put a word to it; maybe Hayley Williams esque with the way she fills a room with her voice. I have grown up listening to "pop - punk" music and always gravitate back to it. Their album is one to buy !

Sia / Soon We'll Be Found ( Triple j like a version)

Her voice is one that will never get old and she even sound amazing with a croaky voice! Even though I don't enjoy her new music as much as her old, her voice will never get old. I grew up listening to this blonde bombshell and always wanted her hair.  This is one of my all time favourites of hers and if you haven't heard it .. .well you have been living under a rock!

Adult Jazz / Am Gone

Adult Jazz is one of those bands that never fails to disappoint. Their music is refreshing in a sense and is something to listen to when you need an uplift in your day. They remind me a lot of Dog is Dead who is another one of my all time favourite bands.

Grace Vardell / West Coast ( Lana Del Rey Cover)

There are two people in the world who I wish I could have their voices; Hayley Williams and Grace Vardell. This girl is amazing, her voice is so pure and effortless. She gives me shivers when I listen to it, it's better than the original in my books! Not to mention she's only 14 ... Check out her other videos! They will leave you speechless!

I hope you enjoy these songs as much as I do! What songs are you obsessed with? please leave a comment on them! Much love,
